Platform 9 and 3/4

Hermione looked highly confused at the whole thing, not knowing what a mudblood was.

Ariana was frozen in horror for a moment before glaring after Draco.

"What just happened?" Hermione asked after a moment.

Terra turned to Hermione and looked at her. "He just insulted you." Her voice was tense with anger. "That word he said, it's a very offensive word most pure-bloods use to describe muggle-borns."

Jamie sighed. "Most pure-bloods," he said, "are very stuck up and think they are superior to everyone else." He looked to his sister momentarily. "Me and Terra are not like that, though, even though we are pure-bloods."

Terra wrinkled her nose. "I've heard of the Malfoys before. I should've known what he'd be like the moment he introduced himself."

Jamie looked at Hermione. "You shouldn't take what he said to heart." He advised, then his eyes darkened. "He'll most likely be calling you that for the rest of your time at Hogwarts."

"And anyone else who's muggle-born," Terra said, her eyes narrowed in anger.

Hermione looked horrified, and Ariana tossed her head. "Pure bloods, half-bloods, muggle borns? What's the difference? We all have magic. I wish that the arrogant ones like the Malfoy's would see that."

"Yeah, me too." Terra replied, still looking a bit angry.

"Well, on the bright side, at least we are all going to Hogwarts!" Ariana said cheerfully.

"Yes!" Terra replied brightly.

Jamie nodded.

"I'm really excited, I did only just find out I have magic," Hermione agreed.

"Magic is so cool!" Terra said cheerfully. "It makes our lives so much easier, and it's fun, too."

Jamie blinked. "It's only fun if you use it properly."

"I'm very excited to learn about magic," Hermione said cheerfully.

Terra was about to reply, when she heard something in the distance. She whipped her head around. "Is that the train?" She asked excitedly.

"I'll bet it is," Ariana replied excitedly.

"Yes! The train!" Terra said eagerly.

"I'm so excited!" Ariana said happily.

"Me too!" Terra said.

The train pulled up to the station.

Jamie stood and watched.

Ariana trembled in excitement.

The train stopped, and Jamie and Terra immediately raced for the doors.

Rose, Lily, and Rowan walked toward the train.
