Aphrodite scowled as she entered the shop.

Jake grinned and winked at Lily.

"Come on Ariana," Serenity said to her younger sister. "Let's get your robes. Hopefully we won't have to deal with her to much in there." She nodded to ehr friends. "I'll see you later."

"Yeah, bye!" Lily called after the three of them.

"See you all on the train of awesome redness!" Rowan said.

Rose blinked. "Really, Rowan? 'train of awesome redness'?"

"Of course! I had to give it a new name! 'Hogwarts Express' is so bland and boring." Rowan said, grinning.

"You know, sometimes I think the train in your head doesn't stop at all of the necessary stations," Rose dead-panned, "if you know what I mean by that."

"Is there a problem with skipping a station or two?" Ryan asked with a smirk. "Really, Rosey dear, learn to live a little."

"And neither of you will ever get a girlfriend," Katherine sighed.

Rose glowered. "Don't call me Rosey again. Ever." She said to Ryan.

Rowan's eyes widened. "Hey, Rosey! Roseeeyyy!!" He chirped.

Rose's eye twitched, and she glared at Ryan. "Now look at what you've done! He's not going to stop calling me that now!"

"Roseyyy!!" Rowan sang. "Roseeyy~!"

"See?!" Rose yelled.

"Rosey!" Rowan said in her ear.

"Shut up!" Rose shrieked.

Ryan laughed and joined in happily. "Roseyroseyroseyrosey ROSEEEEEEY!" he sang, suddenly grabbing her and spinning her around.

Katherine rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Jake howled with laughter.

"Let go of me!" Rose yelled. "And for the love of all that's holy, stop calling me ROSEY!!

"Roseeeey!" Rowan called, circling them as the two spun round. "Rosey~!"

"I am going to MURDER the two of you!" Rose screamed.

Lily was literally rolling on the ground, laughing.

Ryan ignored her, continuing to spin her while calling her Rosey.

Jake fell to the ground, still howling with laughter.

Katherine walked over and punched Ryan in the back of the head, making him drop Rose.

And THAT was how Aphrodite, Serenity, and Ariana found them after all three, Slytherin girl and Ravenclaw girls, exited Madam Malkin's.

Rose stepped away from Ryan and Rowan. "You two need help," she decided, her face red from anger. "Serious help."

Rowan grinned. "You say that like it's a bad thing."

"That's because it is a bad thing, idiot." She retorted hotly.

Lily finally stopped laughing, and stood up.

"Ryan, were you just spinning Rose around?" Serenity asked slowly.

"Yes, I was," Ryan replied cheerfully.

"Honestly, Ryan, that is NOT how you get a girl to date you," Serenity scloded. All the clour left Ryan's face.

Aphrodite rolled her eyes and walked away.

Rose's face went even redder. "It wasn't like that!" She yelled, "He was NOT trying to get me to date him! What even gave you that idea?!"

Rowan smirked. "Oh, you know you enjoyed it," he said cheerfully.

For the next few days, Rowan Hawthorne could be seen sporting a black-eye and a broken nose. And THAT is why you don't make comments like that to the eldest Hawthorne sibling. Because she'll beat you senseless.

Ryan looked horridly confused, then terrified as Rose began beating on Rowan while Serenity watched in horror. Jake gaped and Katherine shook her head slowly, muttering about even the sainest going insane eventually.

Ariana, however, simply started cheering 'FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!\

Rose stopped her assault on the poor Rowan. She stood up straight, and huffed. "Anyone else need a lesson on how painful life can be?" She directed a slit-eyed look at Ryan.

Rowan, laying on the ground behind Rose, groaned in pain while holding his abused face, accenting Rose's threat nicely.

"Oh my gosh, Rowan are you all right?" Serenity asked, rushing over to him.

Ryan grimaced at he looked at his friend. "I think I'm good, Rosey," he replied nonchalantly.

"What was that?" Rose asked, dangerously quiet. "Did you by any chance just call me Rosey again?" Her eye twitched, and her hand closed into a fist.

Rowan groaned again. "Yeah. I'm just bloody spectacular. Why?" He said.

Lily snickered.

"Rose, I can't believe you did that to your own brother!" Serenity exclaimed, kneeling beside Rowan.

"Uhhhh," was Ryan's only reply.

Jake snickered.

Rose continued to glare at Ryan. "Don't call me Rosey," she hissed, and then stalked over to where Katherine was. She then alternated glares from Rowan to Ryan, looking livid.

Rowan waved his free hand nonchalantly. "It's fine, Serenity. Dear big sister Rosey does stuff like this on a regular basis."

Rose sighed angrily, pinching the bridge of her nose with her thumb and fore-finger. "Gee, I wonder why," she said sarcastically.

"Don't know. Why don't you enlighten me, big sister Rosey?" Rowan replied.

"You're seriously pushing your luck right now." Rose snapped.

"I know. It's worth it, though. Seeing your face when you start screaming at me is worth any amount of physical harm." Rowan reported.

Rose's jaw dropped. "Why you-!" A vein popped on her head. She lunged for Rowan again.

"Rose, leave him alone. He's just an idiot," Katherine said. "Come on, let's go get our books. Jake, you can stay with your friends. We can all meet up again later."

Hermione Granger looked around at Diagon Alley, in awe of the wizarding world. As a muggle born, she had never seen anything like it.

"Yeah, okay." Rose grumbled, with a last glare at Rowan.

Katherine grabbed Rose's arm and dragged her away to Flourish and Blott's.

"That was a close one," Ryan commented as the two girls left.

Rowan got up off the ground. "Yeah." His nose was bleeding.

Lily was laughing silently, staring at her brother.

Rose pulled her arm free from Katherine, and stomped angrily toward Flourish and Blott's.

"You should get that checked out," Serenity commented, looking at hsi nose. "You're bleeding."

Katherine sighed and shook her head at her friend. Rose had quite the temper at times.
