Blackridge Caverns

The series of caves in the cliffside where the Blackridge Pack will frequently stay, particularly when rearing pups.

Carin and Aryn sat together in the caverns.

Nari sat, looking around with an unreadable expression.

Thirrin lounged lazily on the stone floor.

Laena was pacing.

Nya and Kar trotted over to Thirrin.

"Hi Thirrin," Nya yipped.

Thirrin looked up at their approach. "Hi, Nya and Kar," he responded.

"How are you?" Nya asked. Kar stood silently beside her.

Thirrin blinked. "I'm fine," he replied, and then looked over to the still-pacing Laena. "Though I don't think she is."

Kar tilted his head. "Ants in her fur?" he asked.

"No, she's probably just bored out of her fur," the voice belonged to Nari, who wasn't even looking at them. "You know Laena; she can't sit still for long."

"Well, we're bound to go hunting soon," Nya growled, imagining the joy of the wind rushing through her long fur as she ran with the pack after a deer.

"Yes! I can't wait!" Laena barked enthusiastically, overhearing them. Her pacing continued.

"Don't worry, Laena, it's bound to be soon," Nya yipped.

Laena pawed at the ground, impatient.

Nari rested her head on her paws.

Thirrin yawned.

Carin and Aryn trotted over to the other wolves.
"It's time to hunt," Aryn growled.

Laena was immediately on her paws the moment she heard this.

Thirrin and Nari sttod side-by-side, though not touching.

Nya and Kar yipped with excitement.

Laena, Nari, and Thirrin waited.

The two leaders led the pack out of the cave in search of dear.

The three wolves followed, looking eager to be finally hunting.

Nya and Kar loped after their leaders.

Laena loped ahead of Thirrin and Nari, eagerness thrumming through with each step.

Thirrin and Nari kept an even pace, Thirrin watching Laena with an amused look.
