Hogwarts Express

"Of course not!" Ryan replied, forcing a look of fury on his face. He hoped it was convincing, and he could frustratingly feel his cheeks burning red.

"It's possible," Katherine replied.

"Right," Rowan said in a disbelieving tone, "Of course you don't."

"Yeah, sure." Rose retorted sarcastically, while the slightest amount of pink crept onto her face. "Like that would happen."

"Really, I don't!" Ryan insisted.

Katherine snorted. "Sure. You're blushing, by the way."

"You say this, yet your face is redder than a tomato," Rowan replied, grinning. 'I don't believe you~!" He said in a sing-song voice.

Rose gritted her teeth. "No I'm not!" She immediately protested.

"Just shut up Rowan," Ryan groaned.

"Actually, you are," Katherine replied calmly.

"You know what I think, Ryan?" Rowan whispered mischievously, leaning in toward his friend.

Rose huffed moodily, turning away. "Whatever." She said, and tried to force down that blush.

Katherine grinned at her friend.

Ryan rolled his eyes at his friend. "What?"

"I think you like Rosey," Rowan said, and then cackled loudly.

Rose turned her attention back to Katherine. "What are you grinning at?" She growled.

"I do not," Ryan said with a scowl.

"Oh, nothing," Katherine said quickly. "I'm just excited for another year at Hogwarts."

"Oh, really?" Rowan replied doubtfully. "I'm not sure if I believe you."

"Nice subject change," Rose muttered under her breath quietly, and then said louder, "I'm not. Another year of those arrogant Slytherin idiots? I wish they would just vanish."

"Oh, come one, Rose, they're not that bad. And it's not like we have to be around them all the time," Katherine replied.

"Believe what you want, but I know it's not true," Ryan replied.

"Not that bad?" Rose said scornfully. "You weren't the one who had an outbreak of hives that lasted an entire week because of a curse some Slytherin 6th year casted at you." She looked angry from recalling these events.

Rowan rolled his eyes. "I will believe what I want," and then he looked out the window and got completely side-tracked. "Oh! Look, we're almost there!" Indeed, the large castle of Hogwarts was in sight, small in the distance, but still visible.

Katherine simply shrugged and rested her cheek against the window.

Ryan scoffed in annoyance, and focused his thoughts on the new school year.

Rose fell silent, looking out the window with a forlorn expression.

Rowan rolled his eyes again.

The train reached Hogwarts, and stopped.

Rose got up to retrieve her things and get off the train.

Rowan did the same thing, standing up.

Lily sighed and left the compartment she was in.

Hermione, Ariana, Aphrodite, Adrian, Serenity, Ryan, and Katherine all left their compartments and got off the train.

Rose, Rowan, and Lily all got of of the train, followed shortly by Terra and Jamie.

It was time for a new year at Hogwarts. (Skip to the Great Hall for the start of term)
